About the role
If is looking for a new Nordic colleague to work within Directory Services team under the Identity and Access Management Platform. Directory Services is highly skilled, pro-active and creatively thinking team with the focus on continuous improvement and efficient problem-solving. You will be part of multinational platform team of 10 caring, supportive and skilled colleagues, male and female. The IAM platform is currently undergoing a dramatical change where multiple key applications are being replaced or implemented. So, expect a high pace “pioneer” environment where you will have the opportunity to learn, but also make your mark on how we do things in the team and If.
As a service responsible on the Directory Services team, you will take the lead on governing Active Directory Domain Services, function as a positive force on the surrounding IT departments, but also implement and promote best practices. Communication and collaboration with our many stakeholders across countries and business areas is key to be a success.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot issues related to Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, AAD Connect and ADFS
- Support business and colleagues with integrations
- Improve and harden existing AD architecture and processes
- Translate technical terminology into business language
- Provide technical support and guidance to Service Desk staff
- Carry out project lifecycles (plan, execute, monitor, report)
Who are you?
You have several years’ experience on Active Directory, Azure Active Directory and AAD Connect. You have a natural passion for technology, are curious in nature and a quick learner. As English are our company language and you will be working together with people from all Nordic and Baltic countries, it’s important that you possess good English and communication skills. You also have a good understanding of programming and scripting concepts; some experience is a plus.
If you possess some of the below, it would be icing on the cake, but not a requirement:
- Fluent in PowerShell programming
- Experience with using REST APIs
- Understand infrastructure design (Servers, Networks, Firewalls, Services)
- Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 apps
- Solid understanding of IT Security and GDPR regulations

With our true Nordic organization, Workplace Services provide many of the IT services for If´s 9000 users use to help and guide our customers. Workplace Services strive to continuously develop cost effective and stable solutions that support our users’ and customers’ needs in the best viable way. As the department is working closely with its stakeholders, communication and professionalism is key to our success, as well as collaboration between the other departments supplying IT services to our business.
